Just across the Danube river, discover a sanctuary carved into the limestone cliffs of the Rusenski Lom valley. This is the only inhabited rock monastery in Bulgaria. Climb the stone steps to view the cave chapels, ornate icons, and the serene gardens maintained by the resident monks.
