We will drive to Ephesus in Selcuk , upon arrival enter the magnificent city through the Magnesia Gate. Ephesus, was the capital of Asia Minor in Roman era. The route will take you to Odeon, Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan and Great Theater.

The house was discovered in the 19th century by following the descriptions in the reported visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. Catholic pilgrims visit the house based on the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was taken to this stone house by Saint John and lived there for the remainder of her earthly life. The shrine has merited several papal Apostolic Blessings and visits from several popes including Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI.

Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of Ancient World. It was completely rebuilt three times and was eventually destroyed in 401 AD. The Temple of Artemis (Artemision) was located near the ancient city of Ephesus. Today the site lies on the edge of the modern town of Selcuk. After six years of searching, the site of the temple was rediscovered in 1869 by an expedition led by John Turtle Wood and sponsored by the British Museum. Today the site of the temple, which lies just outside Selcuk, is marked by a single column constructed of dissociated fragments discovered on the site.

Its best-known exhibit is the ancient statue of the Greek Goddess Artemis. It is a museum with rich collection of finds and artifacts but also very practicle to visit within just enough period of time.
