5 Fingers – One of Austria’s Most Breathtaking Viewing Platforms Experience the thrill of standing on 5 Fingers, one of the most spectacular viewing platforms in Austria, perched high above the Dachstein Mountains. From the top cable car station, a scenic and easy 20–30 minute walk leads you to this unforgettable viewpoint, where five extended platforms offer jaw-dropping views over the Alps and Hallstatt below. In winter, sturdy snow boots are essential, and in case of heavy snow, rental equipment is available at the cable car station.
