Blenheim Palace
Experience as described by Queen Victoria, the Empress Of India, as “The most magnificent Palace in England, far better than my home Buckingham Palace!”
In stunning Baroque architecture from 11 local quarries, this giant Palace is full of the wow factor.
It has been used to film more period dramas than any other site in the UK and showcases the British Empire's wealth & standing in the world, from the 18th Century.
We look through the Palace rooms, including where Sir Winston Churchill was born & the magnificent library, complete with musical organ.
We also visit the beautiful family chapel of the owner, The Duke of Marlborough, & look around the award winning Churchill Museum.
Finishing with the ornate formal gardens with an extensive look across Blenheim Palace's land!

Woodstock
The town of Woodstock is right on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds, just eight miles north west of Oxford.
Most tourists never actually see the historic Woodstock, tucked away off the busy main road, next to its grand and glorious neighbour, Blenheim Palace.
Woodstock is more than worthy of a visit in its own right. A medieval ‘new town’, founded to cater for visitors to a royal hunting lodge, Woodstock has a 900 year history of hospitality.
The town’s fine Georgian facades often disguise far older buildings that house all manner of fascinating hotels, cafes, shops and galleries.

Stow-on-the-Wold
Stow-on-the-Wold is a town in the North Cotswolds in England. The town centre, whilst small, is extremely beautiful, focused around the large market square & the pretty streets & lanes leading off of it.
We stay for a true English pub lunch in the oldest Inn in England 962AD.
1 hour and 30 minutes

Lower Slaughter
The Cotswolds' villages of Upper & Lower Slaughter are thankfully named after muddy wetland areas in the Old English language ¬thing worse!
Nestled on the banks of the River Eye, these twin villages link via a mile-long path. They are peaceful, idyllic villages set by the river & home to one of the most romantic streets in the UK – Copse Hill Road.
We drive slowly by these tiny, honey-hued houses, adorned with colourful flowers & traditional windows which sit aside the babbling brook.
Lower Slaughter is a picturesque movie location too, & most recently, the Jane Austin 2020 film ‘Emma’ was filmed here.
Artists come from far & wide to paint these beautiful villages that remain untouched since 1906.

Bourton-on-the-Water
Bourton-on-the-Water is famed for its picturesque High Street. Lying on the meandering River Windrush, with several low arched stone bridges, resulted in the village becoming known as "The Venice of the Cotswolds".
Tour the many shops & take a manner of stunning photos of this bustling village.

Burford
Burford is described as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds' at a 2 hour drive from London.
This is your first or last stop & showcases the charm & beauty of The Cotswolds, where you can simply admire the quality of architecture, shops & atmosphere of a five star English Town.
You can decide to take refreshments in a Tea Room or enjoy the downhill walk with a coffee in hand, stopping in every shop, gallery or boutique on route to the magnificent St John the Baptist Church which is considered in the top ten Churches of the UK.
