Archaeological Zone of Xochicalco
Xochicalco is an example of the epoch known as Epiclassic (700-900 AD) characterized by the emergence of cities in central Mexico after the decline of the Teotihuacan city and the power vacuum left by it. This period is characterized by a series of events that give way to the foundation of Tula, after a series of migrations of groups living in central Mexico.
