Barrio La Sierra or Comuna 8 is another comuna that was ground zero in the drug war and underwent radical transformation when the families realized the resources they had in the hillside of Medellín to survive and created a urban coffee farm. You will take the metrocable high above the city to Villa Sierra, one of the first distant hillside neighborhoods to get the tram system.
