Two of Lebanon's most distinctive destinations — one private guided day from Beirut. Chateau Musar is arguably the most celebrated winery in the Middle East — a family estate that kept producing wine through Lebanon's Civil War and whose Cabernet-Cinsault blend has been listed among the greatest wines in the world. Byblos is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on earth — 7,000 years of unbroken settlement, the city that gave the world its alphabet, and one of the most rewarding archaeological sites in the Mediterranean. A private tour means the vehicle, the guide, and the day are exclusively yours — your pace, your questions, your itinerary. Chateau Musar's cellar tour and tastin...

Château Musar
Chateau Musar — the winery that never stopped
Founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar and made famous by his son Serge — who arrived at the Bristol Wine Fair in 1979 and stunned the international wine world with a Lebanese red nobody had heard of. Chateau Musar continued producing through Lebanon's Civil War, missing only two vintages in fifteen years of conflict. The estate sits in the Bekaa foothills, producing its iconic Cabernet-Cinsault-Cinsaut blend from some of the oldest ungrafted vines in the world. Your guide covers the full Musar story — the family, the war years, the international recognition — before the cellar tour and a tasting of the wines that put Lebanon on the world wine map.

Byblos Castle
Byblos Castle & archaeological site — 7,000 years in one walk
The 12th-century Crusader castle was built from recycled Phoenician and Roman stones — civilisations literally embedded in the walls. Inside the archaeological enclosure: Neolithic foundations from 5000 BC, Bronze Age temples, Phoenician royal tombs, and Roman streets — all within the same site. Byblos gave the world its alphabet — the Phoenician script from which all Western alphabets derive — and its name gave us the word Bible. Your guide traces the full arc of human settlement here, tailoring the depth of each period to your group's interests.

Old Souk
Byblos Old Souk & ancient fishing port
Stone-paved lanes with jewellery workshops, antique dealers, and cafés — then down to the ancient fishing harbour where wooden boats sit against medieval walls and open sea. The most photogenic corner of Byblos. Your guide points out the details that most visitors walk past.
