Land’s End marks the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez in a landscape shaped by granite cliffs, wind, and ocean currents. As you paddle at water level, iconic landmarks such as Neptune’s Finger, Lovers Beach, and the Arch reveal themselves from a unique perspective only accessible from the sea.
The granite formations surrounding Land’s End help create habitats for marine life, making areas like Pelican Rock one of Cabo’s most popular snorkeling locations. Rocky reefs and underwater formations provide shelter for colorful fish and other species commonly found in the Sea of Cortez.

Itinerary
1
Cannery Beaches
Meet your private guide at Playa Empacadora for equipment setup, safety orientation, and a short paddling introduction before launching directly from the beach. This historic shoreline sits near the old tuna cannery area and offers one of the closest ocean access points to Land’s End and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas.
15 minutes
2
Neptune's Finger
Paddle along the granite coastline toward Neptune’s Finger, one of the distinctive rock formations shaped by wind, waves, and time. This scenic pass-by section offers changing water colors, cliff views, and a quiet introduction to the natural landscape of Land’s End from sea level.
3
El Arco de Cabo San Lucas
Continue paddling near the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, one of the most recognizable landmarks in Baja California Sur. Your guide will allow time for scenic views and photos when ocean and marine traffic conditions permit, always adjusting the route for safety and comfort.
4
Playa de los Amantes
Pass near Lovers Beach, a narrow sandy area framed by dramatic granite formations. From the kayak, this section reveals the contrast between the protected Sea of Cortez side and the more exposed Pacific side of Land’s End.
5
Pelican Rock
Stop for a guided snorkeling session near Pelican Rock or a nearby reef area selected according to daily ocean conditions. Rocky reefs, clear water, and seasonal marine life make this one of Cabo’s most popular snorkeling areas.

6
Cannery Beaches
Enjoy the return paddle toward Playa Empacadora with final views of Land’s End, Cabo San Lucas Bay, and the surrounding desert coastline. This last section offers a relaxed close to the adventure before arriving back at the beach.
