Longqing Gorge
Our English speaking tour guide and driver will hold your name logo then pick you up at your central located Beijing hotel lobby on 7:30 am in the morning, the drive around 2 hours and arrive at The Longqing Gorge, and the gorge is often regarded as another Three Gorges along Yangtze River and is also frequently compared to marvelous waterborne peaks along Li River in Guilin from south of China. In the west north is the Songshan Forest Park, and in the west is Haituo Mountain. It is well known for its scenic canyon landscape. A reservoir flooded the canyon after the building of the nearby Longqing Dam.
The boat ride through the bottom of Longqing Gorge can be an incredible site. This scenic area is often considered a microcosm of the Yangtze River's Three Gorges, people can ride the world's longest chain of escalators to the top of the largest dam in northern China. furthermore, the gorge features a range of recreational options for visitors, with rock-climbing, horseback riding, and go-carting. In winter, the Longqing Gorge Ice Sculpture Festival is one of the biggest events in the winter time of Beijing, during the festival there are around 160 ice sculptures are on display inside an ice pavilion. Finally, you will have lunch at a local restaurant before coming back hotel.
