Since the 9th century, the Prague Castle has been the seat of Czech kings and emperors. Nowadays, the Prague Castle is the seat of Czech president.

St. Vitus Cathedral
St. Vitus Cathedral is the largest and the most important temple in Prague. Apart from religious services, coronations of Czech kings and queens also took place here. The cathedral is a place of burial of several patron saints and kings.

Old Royal Palace
The Old Royal Palace is a former seat of Czech rulers. The palace is a mix of many architectural styles, particularly Gothic and Renaissance (admission not included).

Golden Lane
Golden Lane sits adjacent to the Prague Castle and consists of an assortment of small, brightly painted houses. These houses used to host historical figures, like Franz Kafka (admission is not included)

Hradčany
The Prague Castle was built on a hill. This area is nowadays called Hradchin (Hradcany) and provides great views of the city.

Tomas Garrique Masaryk Monument
Near the entrance to the Prague you can admire the monument of T.G.Masaryk, the founder of Czechoslovakia and the 1st president.

Nerudova street leads to Little Quarter and is lined with Baroque and Classical palaces.

Malostranske namesti
The Lesser Town Square (Malostranske namesti) is the main square of Lesser Town. In the middle of the Square you can admire St.Nicholas Church, the dominant of Lesser Town.

St Nicholas Church
St. Nicholas Church is the most beautiful Baroque church in Prague and dominant of the Liitle Quarter. W.A.Mozart liked to practise on the organ here because of excellent acustics.

Lennonova zed
The John Lennon wall had been decorated by stories and grievances during communist times which led to a clash between hundreds of students and security police on the nearby Charles Bridge.

Kampa
Banks of Kampa Island are washed by water of Vltava river on the one side and on the other one by the Devil's Stream which was created in the 12th century as a millrace. it is an amazing place to take awesome pictures of the Charles Bridge, the Vltava river and Prague historical center.

The Charles Bridge is a Gothic stone arch bridge that crosses the Vltava river in Prague. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV. The Charles bridge provides some of the most astonishing views of Prague.
