MANAGE THE QUANTITY OF LIGHT Nothing is more unpleasant than a photo that is too dark or too bright. It is therefore important to know how to control the quantity of it that we let penetrate through our lens and go to the sensor. Even if the device does part of the work in semi-automatic mode, it can sometimes get it wrong. You will learn to cope: in very contrasting situations (backlighting, subjects lit on one side only, etc ...). in dark places, traditionally harder to photograph by hand. in gray skies, often much brighter than the subject you wish to immortalize, sometimes causing unpleasant under-exposures.
