Itinerary
1
Wat Ounalom
Here we start our photography in the shadow of the city gearing up with our camera at this spiritual home for the locals in Phnom Penh.
25 minutes
2
Orussey Market
Orrussey is one of the most busy neighborhoods in Phnom Penh and I call it often Chinatown because you can speak Cantonese here. We explore the shadow rich alleys and little back streets where the locals drink strong coffee and delicious street food is being cooked right in front of us. The perimeter of the market is lined with shops and market stalls. Great location for portraits and streetphotography!
1 hour
3
Mekong River
We will cross the Mekong river and visit a local community living on the banks of the river. Here we can take good pictures from the Phnom Penh skyline and also the way of life just a bit away from the city centre.
30 minutes
4
Mekong River
Get close up and meet buddhist monk novice atBuddhist Temple boarding school. Enjoy the silence and views at the countryside villages and lotus flower fields. Enjoy the real Cambodia just 20 minutes from the City.
1 hour
5
Chroy Changvar Bridge
This is a reality check for we are set out to meet the Cham fishing community nomadic people living on the borders of the Tonle Sap river.
Primararly living of the land and adapting to the seasons you can notice them in their sleek bright painted boats crossing the river.
We get up close and are able to do marvelous portraits and perhaps a reportage style series of pictures of this friendly muslim community living on the fringes of society.
Great and unique photo opportunities here!
45 minutes
6
Sisowath Quay
Return to the "Riverside" for a cold drink and evaluate the phototour and get valuable review and honest feedback on your images if you prefer to do so. We discuss your technique and composition and let it all sink in while watching the views and evening setting in in tropical Phnom Penh.
30 minutes

Sisowath Quay
End of the private photography tour in Phnom Penh.
We will set you up for a save return to your hotel if requested, otherwise we can recommend a nice restaurant or cocktail lounge.
