Dorado Tours - Persona Travel
Walk through the essentials of the historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1992. The visit will begin at Wenceslas Square from where we will go to the Municipal House, a majestic jewel of modernist art. We continue through the Powder Tower and Celetná Street to the Old Town Square, itself a display of centuries of architecture: from the Gothic of Our Lady of Týn, through examples of modernism and historicism to the Baroque of the Church of Saint Nicholas. From there they will continue through Franz Kafka Square to Marianské Square, where the Clementinum stands, built in its day as a Jesuit university. The route continues along Karlova Street to the Charles Bridge, a symbol of the city. It is a monument of gothic civil engineering, garnished by baroque statues, in a unique combination. The route follows the right bank of the river to the Jewish Quarter, and ends again in the Old Town Square, at the foot of the Astronomical Clock.
