longe 80mts high ,27mts wide.King Georgre Started the excavations in 1886 and finished finaly 1996 after many wars of Greece .Paul passed through there because the existance of the canal was 2.700 B.C without the excavations.The romans use to transfer the boats rolling in woods.Great Place for photos and visit.

Archaeological Museum of Isthmia
The Archaeological Museum of Isthmia, located inside the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Poseidon at Isthmia, was designed by the architect Pavlos Mylonas. The museum presents finds from excavations at the Mycenaean cemeteries of the area, the Sanctuary of Poseidon, the Roman bath, the Justinian wall, the hill of Rachi Isthmia, and the port of Kechries. A prominent exhibit of the museum is the glass panels that originate from the temple of Isis at the ancient port of Kechries.
