Meeting Points
Departure
Paraglide Maui
We meet at our 'office' which is a green picnic table with a red umbrella in an open field next to our landing zone. Enter "Alii Kula Lavender Farm" into your GPS and then look for our flags about 100 yards before their entrance.
After meeting at our landing zone and receiving an orientation from one of our certified tandem instructors, we ride in our van up to our 'Echos' launch located at 4500' elevation. Your instructor will discuss in detail the process of launching the paraglider and what they will need you to do. If you'd like to see what launching is like, please see the Pre-Flight Briefing video on our website's homepage. Basically, if you can run together with your instructor for 5-6 seconds, you can go paragliding. During the flight your instructor will take photos that will be given to you after landing. You are also welcome to bring your own phone or small camera. After flying high above the meadow below ...
