Your experience begins at the art studio in Porto. After a short introduction, you’ll learn about the history of Portuguese azulejos, their traditional patterns, and how they are used in local architecture. Next, you’ll be guided through the tile painting process using traditional ceramic glazing techniques. You’ll receive your own ceramic tile and be introduced to the materials and tools. You can choose to follow a traditional design or create your own. Stencils are available, making the process accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
