Parque Nacional Volcan De Pacaya
We arrive by your group at the pickup point in Antigua Guatemala and move to Pacaya Volcano National Park. It is an easy volcano to ascend and does not require an excellent physical condition, we will arrive at the skirts of the volcano and prepare to see the impressive landscapes of petrified lava that flowed from the crater, we will feel the steam emanating from the rock and prepare one small marshmallows with the saying steam, is what makes it fascinating. You also have the option to try the famous pacaya pizza. Come and live your experience!!
Pacaya volcano is one of many (active) located around Antigua, the ancient capital of Guatemala, and perhaps the most accessible. The last major eruption of Pacaya volcano was in 2010. Until 2016, it was actually possible to see lava up close during the hike: different tour companies took different routes. During sunset hikes you can observe the volcano of Acatenango and Fuego from other vantage points.
