Start your Ourika Valley day trip from Marrakech with pickup from your hotel, riad, or a nearby vehicle-accessible meeting point. Travel in an air-conditioned minivan toward the Atlas Mountains. Pass mountain villages, olive groves, and open valley views. Stop for photos when road and traffic conditions allow. Visit a traditional Berber home and a women-run argan oil cooperative.

Continue through Ourika Valley to Setti Fatma, a village beside the Ourika River. Meet the local mountain guide for a walk toward the waterfall. The walk usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. It includes rocks, steps, slopes, bridges, and uneven ground. Some parts may be wet or slippery. Wear shoes with good grip. You can skip the Ourika waterfall hike and wait beside the river or at a local café.
