Oshinohakkai, located in Oshino Village, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture, is a group of eight springs fed by underground water from Mt. Fuji, filtered through underground lava over many decades, the spring water is remarkably clear and free of impurities! The springs have been designated as one of the 100 best waters in Japan.

Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine stands at the entrance to Fujiyoshida Exit, one of the most popular routes up Mt. Fuji in Japan and abroad due to its solemn atmosphere, and is a popular shrine for climbers to visit before climbing the mountain. The approach to the shrine is lined with thick, tall cedar trees and stone lanterns, creating an atmosphere of mystery.
