From Osh in the morning (08:00) start by driving 80 km to Gulcho town, where you’ll visit the fascinating Kurmanjan Datka Museum. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Alay during an hour-long exploration
Next, embark on a 50 km drive to Kolduk Lake, a hidden gem where you can take an invigorating 5 km hike along the sparkling lakeshore, soaking in the serene atmosphere. As the journey unfolds, drive along the legendary M41 road, pausing at picturesque spots to photograph the striking, colorful rock formations of the Alay Mountains, including the Uch-Tobo and Taldyk Pass. Arrive at Sary-Tash for a quick break, where you’ll also learn about the nearby border crossings into Tajikistan and China.
