Itinerary
When you arrive, you’ll put on a samue, the traditional clothing worn by Japanese craftsmen, and start by learning about the history and culture behind Suzu metalworking.
With the help of our friendly English-speaking host, you’ll create your own tin sake cup using traditional hand-hammering techniques. You’ll learn how to use authentic tools, shape the metal yourself, and enjoy the feeling of creating something with your own hands.
