Calle de la Sierpe
The first stop is on Calle de la Sierpe, where you will find urban art that adorns Calle de la Sierpe, which has become one of the most popular streets in Cartagena.
The graffiti that decorates the walls, doors and windows of this street are one of its great attractions, not only because of their creativity but also because of the different textures on which they are worked.

Calle de San Juan
The second stop is Calle San Juan. Named after Saint John the Baptist, it is one of the few places in Cartagena that retains its original name from the colonial era. Here you will find an impressive collection of mural paintings, along with a variety of delicious cafes and restaurants lining the street. Callejón Angosto
The fourth stop is the narrow alley that was renamed Calle de las Sombrillas, becoming Cartagena’s Instagrammable spot, designed specifically for taking pictures. A combination of hanging umbrellas, colorful houses, and street art makes it, without a doubt, one of the most picturesque places in the city, especially when it’s lit up at night.

Calle de las Chancletas
The fifth stop is the street of flip-flops. This place is named after the fact that it is said that during the colonial era, fishermen from Barú and Tierrabomba came to sell food like yuca and corn on one of the nearby bridges. Their women asked permission to make them a stew in a lot on this street. The men, who had been in the water all the time, left their flip-flops drying in the sun on the sidewalk while they sat down to eat.

Walls of Cartagena
After this walking tour you will understand why they always say: “I love Gethsemane”. We will walk on the Walls and you will understand why it is called “The Arrabal de Gethsemane”. Here the tour will end.
