We will meet at the culdesac at the end of Kala'au street. If meeting early in the morning, please be respectful of the neighborhood and keep noise to a minimum.

The summit of Kuli'ou'ou is approximately 1600', with a round trip distance of 4.4 miles. You're in no real danger on this section. If you choose to do the loop, the elevation gain is 2,000' and 5.3 miles. Going past the summit of Kuli'ou'ou to do the loop requires hiking on the KST (Ko'olau Summit Trail), which has a steep drop off on one side. For this section, you must be comfortable with heights and be able to do a small amount of technical scrambling in sections.
