Exploring the Shrines and Temples of the Kakuozan Area.
A temple built to enshrine the Buddha's relics and gilded bronze statue sent from Thailand. It is the only temple in Japan not affiliated with any specific Buddhist sect.
Visitors can explore historical temples like Nitaiji and Sououji and enjoy the local charms of Kakuozan Shopping Street. You will also stroll through Yokiso Garden, which offers a delightful blend of Japanese and Western-style architecture, a tea room for sencha, and a bridge famous for its ceiling paintings, all surrounded by nature that changes with the seasons.
