Corinth Canal
A narrow canal that cuts through the Isthmus of Corinth, connecting the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. Completed in 1893, it allows ships to avoid sailing around the Peloponnese. The canal is about 6.4 km long with steep cliffs nearly 90 m high, making it a popular quick stop for photos on Peloponnese tours.
