First location - Muddy Volcanoes: Step onto a surreal, lunar-like landscape at the Paclele Mari site, part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Buzau Land. This rare geological phenomenon features miniature volcanoes created by natural gases rising from 3,000 meters deep, pushing cold liquid mud to the surface. As the mud dries, it forms a vast, cracked grey crust of "ground fogs" and bubbling craters that offer some of the most unique photography opportunities in Romania. It is a quiet, otherworldly experience that feels miles away from civilization.
