High above the Ionian coast, the charming hill town of Savoca is one of Sicily’s most famous filming locations from The Godfather. Its quiet streets and panoramic views provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable cinematic stop.
During this one-hour visit, we explore two iconic sites: the Church of Santa Lucia, where Michael and Apollonia’s wedding was filmed, and the legendary Bar Vitelli, where Michael first asks about the young woman he spotted in the countryside only to learn she is the bar owner’s daughter.
Guests may enter the church with a small voluntary donation. At Bar Vitelli, entry requires purchasing a drink, while those who prefer may simply admire the exterior.
A brief but atmospheric stop, Savoca blends movie history with authentic Sicilian village life - a must-see on any Godfather tour.

Forza d'Agro
Clinging dramatically to the hillside above the Ionian coast, Forza d’Agrò is one of Sicily’s most picturesque villages and a key filming location from The Godfather trilogy.
During our visit, we stroll through its narrow stone alleyways, soaking up spectacular views while discovering several atmospheric medieval churches and corners that appeared in The Godfather Parts I, II, and III. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about the productions, the village’s long history, and how this quiet hill town became immortalized on screen.
Compact yet rich in character, Forza d’Agrò offers a perfect blend of cinematic heritage and authentic Sicilian charm-an essential stop on any Godfather tour.

Taormina
Taormina – Leisure Time in Sicily’s Most Elegant Town
The third and final stop of the tour is the stunning town of Taormina, one of Sicily’s most celebrated destinations. Perched between Mount Etna and the sea, it offers spectacular views, historic streets, and a lively atmosphere.
Here, guests enjoy free time to explore at their own pace-whether that means relaxing over lunch, browsing local boutiques, or wandering through the charming Corso Umberto. One of the main highlights is the magnificent Greek–Roman Theatre, where ancient architecture meets breathtaking scenery. Entry is optional and costs €12 per person.
Most visitors spend two to four hours in Taormina, depending on their ship’s schedule, making it the perfect place to slow down, soak in the scenery, and end the day on a high note.
