DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – IMLIL VILLAGE (1740m) – TOUBKEL REFUGE (3200m) 5/6 HOURS HIKE

You will be picked up from your hotel or hostel by our driver at 8:00 AM sharp, and we’ll head together to Imlil, a charming Berber village in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Situated 1,740 meters (5,700 feet) above sea level and just 65 km (40 miles) south of Marrakech, Imlil is the perfect starting point for your trek.
Your journey begins as we make our way toward the mountain shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. By now, we will be well above 2,400 meters (8,000 feet), surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the fresh mountain air.
We’ll pause for a delicious picnic lunch, prepared by our cook, giving you a chance to rest and soak in the scenery. Then, we continue ascending through the mountains toward the refuge at 3,200 meters (10,500 feet). Here, you can enjoy a refreshing mint tea, a hot shower, and a well-earned rest, preparing you for the adventure ahead.
This first day promises spectacular views, authentic Moroccan experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime.
