After registering at the Marangu gate, your trek will start. You will hike through the rainforest and have a chance to see wildlife such as white and black colobus monkeys along the way. You will spend the night in the Mandara hut.
Elevation: 1700m to 2740m, 8km, hiking time: 4-6 hours, Habitat: rainforest.
