Next is a glacially-fed alpine lake which is Moraine Lake. About 14 km south of Lake Louise, nestled in the Valley of Ten Peaks at 1,884 m elevation. It's famous vivid turquoise-blue water comes from rock flour carried by meltwater from the Fay Glacier.
