Mercado Central de Atarazanas
The Central Market of Atarazanas is one of the most emblematic buildings of the city.

Estadio La Rosaleda
On the way out of the city we pass by the Malaga football stadium which sits alongside the Guadalmedina river.

Jardin Botanico Historico La Concepcion
Before starting the ascent to Los Montes, we exit on the right the botanical garden of La Concepción.

Montes de Malaga Natural Park
We enter the natural park of Montes de Malaga by the stonecutters path, surrounded by a beautiful pine forest with spectacular scenery and wild horses.

Hotel Humaina
In the heart of the Natural Park we find this charming hotel.

Mirador Vazquez Sell
In the upper part of the park we reach the Mirador de Ignacio Sell from where we can see, besides the city of Malaga, a large part of the province, including the Torcal de Antequera and the Sierra de las Nieves. Here we will take a quick break and have a snack while enjoying the beautiful views.

Fuente la Reina
We arrive at the fountain of the Queen, the highest point of the route, where we begin the descent.

Mirador Del Cochino
Shortly after starting the descent, we take a detour to visit the famous viewpoint of Cochino, facing south to and take in the views of the bay and if the sky is clear we can see the mountains of Morocco.

Venta El Mijeño
During the descent from Resreso to Malaga we will make a final stop at the famous Venta el Mijeño.
