Kodi and Meena can offer a vegetarian meal on request, please advise at time of booking if required. They also run a home stay, so you might see other guests while you're there, however your Traveling Spoon experience will remain private.

Kodi is a retired banker and his wife Meena is a retired teacher. Kodi is also an antique collector and had been looking for a suitable home for his collection for a while. He stumbled upon a beautiful Dutch home 30 years ago. This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Kodi and Meena's home is less than a 10 minute walk from the main entrance of the Galle fort. We suggest that you walk from the entrance to their home to take in the beauty of the fort - stunning architecture, cobbled streets, pastel colored buildings, street cafes and views of the lighthouse and ramparts. Kodi and Meena's home is an extension of this old world colonial charm - you will notice this as soon as you enter their traditional Dutch home.
