Itinerary

Moray
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to start the tour. Our first stop will be at Moray, an impressive set of circular terraces built by the Incas and used for agricultural experiments. The site, located at approximately 3,500 meters in altitude, reveals the Incas' advanced knowledge of agriculture and different climate conditions. During the visit, your guide will explain how these terraces were used to grow and adapt different plant species.

Salinas de Maras
After visiting Moray, we will continue to Maras, a small town that preserves elements of its colonial past and Andean heritage. We will walk through its streets and learn more about the history and traditions of the local community.

Salinas de Maras
Next, we will visit the Maras Salt Pans, one of the most unique settings in the region. Thousands of small salt pools have been built into the mountainside, where salt water is channeled in and evaporates naturally to produce salt. This activity is maintained by local communities and dates back to techniques used since pre-Columbian times.
After finishing the visits, we will return to Cusco. Drop-off will take place at Cusco's Plaza de Armas, where you can freely choose a restaurant for lunch based on your preference. Lunch is not included in the tour and is at the traveler's own expense. This brings our experience to a close after a day of discoveries throughout the Sacred Valley.
