På platsen där vi idag bland annat hittar Nobelmuseet och andra trevligheter skedde den mest ökända avrättningen i Stockholms och Sveriges historia, Stockholms blodbad.

Kindstugatan
Sex säljer, brukar det heta. Så även i mitten på 1600-talet. Internationella ambassadörer och tjänare inom hovet besökte Sara Simonsdotters bordell i mitten av 1600-talet och bidrog till prostitutionsskandalen som då skakade Stockholm. Bordellen låg på Kindstugatan som idag är en av Gamla Stans mest gemytliga gator.

Vasterlanggatan
Västerlånggatan är varken speciellt lång eller i västligt läge, så varför heter den så? Vår guide har svaret, ett som var bra mycket mer logiskt på 1200-talet.

Marten Trotzigs grand
Mårten Trotzigs gränd är Stockholms smalaste gränd och en obligatorisk hållplats för turister. Gränden är bara 90 centimeter och ligger förstås i Gamla Stan.

Riddarhustorget
Idag är Bondeska Palatset sätet för Högsta Domstolen och en symbol för rättskipande. Ironiskt nog var det också här som det värsta pöbelupploppet med dödlig utgång vi känner till i Sverige tog plats. Lägg därtill att mannen som dödades, den svenske greven Axel von Fersen, var oskyldig.
