After visit Pico dos Barcelos, we will take the old narrow road through the eucalyptus forest until Eira do Serrado. Monte is a village in the suburbs of Funchal, visit the enchanting gardens and the church, built in the 18th century. You also can take an exciting ride down to Funchal (until Livramento) on the famous wicker basket - toboggan -, a traditional transport originated in the early 19th century (this is optional and paid locally).
