The Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, is a historic marble stadium in Athens, Greece. Originally built in 330 BC and rebuilt in marble in 144 AD, it hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. It is the only stadium in the world made entirely of marble and remains a symbol of Greek heritage and Olympic history.

Located in front of the Hellenic Parliament, it is known for the Changing of the Guard ceremony performed by the Evzones at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Lycabettus Hill is the highest point in central Athens, offering panoramic views of the city, including the Acropolis, the Aegean Sea, and even the distant mountains on clear days. Accessible by funicular or a scenic hike, it's a favorite spot for stunning sunset photos and romantic evenings. At the top, you'll find the charming Chapel of St. George, a café, and an open-air theatre that hosts concerts in the summer. A perfect location for capturing breathtaking photos of Athens from above.

We subsequently drive through modern Athens and stop off at Ermou Street, Plaka and Flea Market for traditional Greek delicacies and maybe a drink.
