Valley of the Kings, Luxor The Valley of the Kings is one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring archaeological sites, located on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor. Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Holies"), is one of the most magnificent and well-preserved temples in Egypt. It is located beneath the towering cliffs of Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile, near Luxor. This stunning structure was built during the 18th Dynasty (c. 1479–1458 BCE) to honor Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s greatest female pharaohs.

Colossi of Memnon, Luxor The Colossi of Memnon are two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that stand as silent sentinels on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor. These imposing monuments, carved from single blocks of quartzite sandstone, originally guarded the entrance to Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple, which was once the largest temple complex in ancient Egypt but has since been mostly lost to time.

Temple of Karnak, Luxor The Temple of Karnak is the largest and most impressive religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt. Located on the east bank of the Nile in Luxor, it was the spiritual center of the powerful god Amun-Ra and served as a vital religious hub for over 2,000 years. The temple complex spans over 200 acres and consists of sanctuaries, pylons, colossal statues, and one of the most awe-inspiring hypostyle halls in the world.
