Please be informed that the entrance fees for the Park is not included in this package. You must pay the fees at the entrance in cash in Sri Lankan Rupees (Rs. 11,000/- , approx. $37 per person) or through a credit card. (There is no facility at present at the Park entrance to make cash payments in foreign currencies)

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Come to the Debarawewa Junction in Tissamaharama. There is a clock tower in the junction. From there come about 50 meters towards Tissamaharama. Just before the government hospital, (adjacent to it) you will see the Ajith Safari Jeep Tours office.

Itinerary
Lunugamvehera National Park in Sri Lanka was declared in 1995, with the intention of protecting the catchment area of the Lunugamvehera reservoir and wildlife of the area. The national park is an important habitat for water birds and elephants.
The catchment area is vital to maintain the water levels of the five tanks in the downstream of Kirindi Oya and wetland characteristics of Bundala National Park. This national park also serves as a corridor for elephants to migrate between Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park.
There are two entrances to the National Park. When we enter from the Weharagala entrance, there is a higher chance to encounter elusive Sri Lankan leopards and also...
