Itinerary
1
Sandor Palace
While passing by the Alexander palace, we discuss the different historical layers of the Buda Castle quarter and how the future construction works will change the area.
2
Buda Castle
We walk by the Northern facade of the Buda Castle.
3
Disz Square
Once leaving the so-called royal part of the Buda Castle quarter, we enter the residential part of the neighbourhood. Plenty of time to talk about the first Jewish quarter of Buda, sieges, and how buildings were restored after WWII.
4
Arpad Toth Promenade (Setany)
Besides admiring the view of the Buda hills, depending on the season we might be able to enjoy the blooming of 110 cherry trees as well.
5
Matthias Church
We walk by the Matthias Church on our way to the Fisherman's bastion.
6
Fisherman's Bastion
The tour concludes at the Fisherman's bastion where we admire the views of Pest. Time for Q&A and for a wrap up.
