It is situated in the countryside, west of Johannesburg, set amongst the pristine bushveld and rocky hills in the Cradle of Humankind. Lesedi Cultural Village has five homesteads showcasing the cultures of the Ndebele, Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, and Bapedi ethnic groups.
Ndebele Village Amphitheater, where guests are welcomed, has paintings on the walls and artifacts depicting the types of settlements for these five ethnic groups. At the beginning you are welcomed and participate in drumming, in the Ndebele Village amphitheater decorated with tribal homesteads paintings followed by the multi-visual presentation depicting History and Culture in the Ingoma Amphitheater,
and,a guided tour of five Ethnic groups homesteads of the Zulu, Xhosa,Ndebele, Pedi and Basotho.The programme ends with not- to -be -missed dance extravaganza.
Choreographic movements,beating of drums and song are thrilling history telling activities that bring to light ancestral folkslore and rituals.
