Balneario Villa Miriam
You will get to know this charming house where we can find a series of pools fed by the San Rafael River that run along the property, springing from the lush hills of the area. This private property was created in 1970 by Mr. Nabij Khoury, a Lebanese merchant and industrialist based in Barahona, Dominican Republic. The name of Villa Miriam was given in honor of his wife Miriam; Dominican whom I love and with whom I have been married for 58 years. Villa Miriam was his creation, his rest home for 30 years.

Mina de Larimar
You will be picked up at your hotel in a safari-type van and taken to the Philippines, a small community where the only blue Pectonite mine in the country and in the world is located, Larimar, a blue semi-precious stone. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful panoramic views. During the visit to the mine, you will be able to observe the miners in the process of extracting the stone and accompany them in their search if you wish.
