Museo Larco
This renowned museum is housed within a beautiful 18th century Viceroyal mansion surrounded by colorful gardens, creating a perfect environment to discover the history of ancient Peru in a unique and captivating way.
During the tour you can admire an impressive collection of more than 45,000 archaeological pieces that narrate more than 5,000 years of history. Among its rooms are fine ceramics, millennial textiles, gold and silver pieces, sculptures and ceremonial objects that belonged to important pre-Columbian civilizations such as the Moche, Nazca, Chimu, Paracas, Chavín and Inca. Each gallery allows us to understand how the cultures that inhabited Peru before the arrival of the Spaniards lived, created art and understood the world.
