It continues along woodland trails to the Small Lake of Monticchio, surrounded by beech and holm oak trees, a peaceful place ideal for relaxing and taking photos in nature.
The walk goes on along scenic paths, including the Pista dei Briganti, leading to the Belvedere del Vulture, which offers spectacular views over the lakes and volcanic hills. Along the way, we will also visit the ruins of the Abbey of Sant’Ippolito, a testimony to the medieval past.

The remains of the Abbey of Sant’Ippolito in Monticchio are evocative medieval ruins set in the nature of Mount Vulture, not far from the lakes.
