Furna do Frei Matias
Explore the inside of a 650m long lava tunnel located on the west side of the Pico Mountain. This tunnel is linked to the legend of a hermit who took refuge there and lived in absolute solitude.

A natural lake located at an altitude of around 800 meters. It's the biggest lake on the island with a stunning view of Mount Pico.

Probably the most beautiful lake on the island. Located at around 900 meters altitude inside a crater. The presence of fog is frequent, giving it a mysterious and unique beauty.
