We depart from our office in Panajachel and head over to the colorful village of Santa Catarina Palopo. In this village we are able to see and learn about local weavings, blankets, nahuales and other goods made and sold by the locals. At the plaza of this village, we visit a local coffee house where you can grind your own coffee and taste the locally grown beans. San Antonio Palopo
We visit a local Ceramic factory to learn about the process and see how it is made. we also visit the local Chocolate factory, the dock and shops by the water

Santa Catarina Palopo
During this stop we are able to learn and see local weavings, clothing, blankets, and many of the local goods made at this village. We also visit the local cultural center where we can taste some local coffee and chocolate, and lastly head over to the dock where we can do some shopping or grab a snack and drinks at the waterfront restaurant.

we head over to Playa Blanca en Barrio Jucanya for some pictures and check out the edge of the lake with the locals before heading back to Simoon Pana office.
