Bring a little excitement to your vacation with our night kayaking tour in the Bio Bay of Laguna Grande Reserve in Fajardo. The Bio Bay has microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates that produce a glowing effect when they are stirred by our paddles. What should I wear? Come prepared to get wet from your waist down. Lightweight, synthetic clothing or a swimsuit is the best. Do not walk bare foot on the beach for safety reasons. What to bring? Change of clothes, towel and mosquito repellent (just in case!). Itinerary
Experience our Night Kayaking Tour in the Bioluminescent Bay. Pickup for the 8:00pm tour is at 6:00pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan, or 6:15pm at the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel. These pickup times ensure timely arrival for check-in, orientation, and preparation.
Upon arrival at Kayak Village, our team will welcome you, provide your safety gear, and guide you through a brief orientation on paddling and safe participation.
Your experience begins with a calm paddle through the mangrove channel, where you will learn about the local ecosystem. As you enter the bay, you will see the natural glow created by the bioluminescent organisms with each stroke. Our guides will take you to the most...
