Akizukisugi no Baba
Sugino-baba Street is a 500-meter historic road leading from the Black Gate of Akizuki Castle. It was once lined with cedar trees, which gave the street its name. Today, the cedars are gone, but the street is famous for its seasonal beauty: cherry blossoms in spring and a tunnel of vibrant autumn leaves in fall. Lined with traditional shops and cafés, it is the highlight of any stroll through Akizuki Castle Town.
