Mohare dada
Our guide picks up you from your hotel with your name card and you will travel from Pokhara to Galeshwor in a private jeep. You will start your Mohare Danda and Khopra Community Trek from Galeshwor. Before beginning your walk, you may also go to the Galeshwor Lord Shiva Temple, which is regarded as one of the 15 holiest pilgrimage places in the world by the ancient holy book Srimad Bhagwat Maha Purana. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Kaligandaki River, the main trek will begin, leading to the Bans Kharka across terraced fields and up into the forest.
After few hours of walking, you will eventually reach a stunning settlement. The remaining time may be spent visiting the hamlet and learning about the Magar community's culture and way of life.
