Itinerary
We begin the snorkeling experience at our center in Glencairn where you will be briefed and fitted with equipment. The chosen snorkeling location is weather dependent as we want to be sure to select the best location in terms of visibility and calmness for the day. If ocean conditions are favourable then we might snorkel at our local kelp forest in Glencairn.
However, most days we go to Windmill Beach in Simons Town. All locations are shore entries. We do not use a boat. Depending on the location, we may encounter fish, octopus, a variety of shy sharks, sea stars, anemones, brittle stars, abalone and other wonderful creatures.
