The sanctuary of Olympia extends over a bewitching landscape lying at the feet of the Kronius Hill. This made it an ideal location for the Olympic Games which were held every four years to honour Zeus. The Archaeological Museum displays world known works of ancient art and exhibits from the Classical Period, the famous pediments from the temple of Zeus, Nike of Paionios and Hermes of Praxiteles.

Just a breath away from the museum and the ruins in Olympia, you can meet Klio and her mother on her farm. Saint Andrew beach is very close to the Katakolon port, it’s located behind the hill of Katakolon and it’s only 4 km away. The beach with thick sand and rocks during the summer is full of life. It’s got a magnificent view of the sea. There is also a cafe and a traditional restaurant where someone can enjoy coffee or meal.
